What are some of your favorite memories from 2024? What are some of the difficult memories?

As you look back at 2024 how did you see God at work in your life? What are you thankful for?

Have you ever accomplished something that seemed extremely difficult or even possible?

Try to look at the birth of Jesus as it were the very first time that you heard it – what do you think would be difficult to believe? What would stand out to you?

In what ways do the angel’s words to Mary, “Nothing is impossible with God” give you hope?

Why did John the Baptist send his disciples to ask Jesus if he was the Messiah? Why couldn’t he go himself?

What does this passage reveal about the human struggle with doubt, even for someone like John the Baptist?

Is there a difference between doubt and unbelief? If so, what is the difference?

Have you ever had any experiences or circumstances in your life that have caused you to doubt or question God?

How can we learn from this passage when we are struggling with doubts about our faith?

How did Jesus react to John the Baptist’s question about his identity?

How do people today get confused about Jesus and what they expect him to be? Why do people have a wrong idea of who Jesus is?

How does Jesus’ response to John’s disciples encourage us to approach him with our questions and uncertainties?
